Kate, here! Hank & I both work in very fast paced corporate America. We have three adorable little ones who look so much alike you'd never know which one is adopted! I am passionate about a lot of things but Jesus in the Eucharist, my husband & my children are my whole world.
After years spent in the hustle and bustle of multiple downtowns, we found ourselves with little ones and a longing for something new. We traded in our walkable city life for something slower. We hoped to find peace, some fresh air and maybe a fresh egg or two. We never expected to find the joy of watching our kids grow up a little wild, forage for fresh blackberries, raise our own meat, or plant a garden that could feed our family. We found so much more than peace and fresh air, we found our heart on this little farm.
Lately, I have been so drawn to bring in more items that really mean something into our space. That's how Hartland Cottage Co got its start, from a little feeling to incorporate Jesus into ever fiber of our home. I am fascinated by the idea that we can use anything to praise Jesus, when our hearts are centered on Him. Whether it's washing the dishes or in adoration, we can Praise Him!
For me, making my home a loving cozy space for my family & friends is one my favorite things. I hope you will find a soft place to land here.

Curated Goods Shop
Hartland Cottage Co. is a curated goods shop focusing on the truth, beauty and goodness of slow living and joy of being home.
The Catholic Goods portion of the shop serves to continue the work of the Holy Spirit to rekindle the longing to participate "intelligently and actively" in the use of sacramentals by the laity.
As Pope Paul IV stated in his Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, there is hardly any material thing, when used properly which cannot be used to praise God & work toward our sanctification. We are so exited to offer a variety of goods to serve as little reminders to direct your prayers, works, joys & sufferings with praise toward our Lord!
