When God opens the best doors

Just over 2 years ago I was pretty miserable leaving my 3month old, Ellie, at home to return to work. It wasn’t easy to leave my first two at home when I returned to work either but this time I was leaving a creative fun 4yr old & a bright eyed 2yr old at home too. I missed them, all.

The money was so good, too good & I was scared to walk away. After an unfortunate situation with a very unsupportive manager & a lot of phone calls with HR, I walked away. Some pretty sour lemons to be handed after a successful career. BUT my Jesus, he makes lemonade! 🍋

Not long after I quit, some contractor friends of ours asked me to help them with the design on their new Airbnb project. Now not only, am I able to stay home with my babies now I get to do something I love in between play dates & nap times!

That same 3m old is now 2.5yrs & last month she, her 11m old brother & I during nap time headed to the ridge to look at paint colors & get a game plan for the final stretch of the second round of cabins (No. 3 & 4) at Rock Creek Ridge! Forever thankful to the Hammond Bros for letting me be a small part of all the fun things they are doing!!
